Why should I upgrade?

Many of you are already “free account” members who are debating on whether or not it is a good investment to upgrade, while others of you have made the decision to upgrade and are now concerned with choosing the best of our premium accounts to fit your needs. We hope that in each case these next few facts will help in your decision making!

As is normal for any company who offers various “paid” plans, there is always one with the best value. In regards to PowToon, our best value is undoubtedly packaged in our “Business” account, but let’s take a look at how each premium plan breaks down so you can see all of the benefits for yourself!

First, and foremost, the “free account” is great (there is no denying this). You can make as many PowToons as you like, up to a maximum of 5 minutes in length for each video, access to tons of great templates, 8 royalty-free styles, and 10 royalty free tunes. However, it is important to note that the “free” account comes with many limitations that do not exist when you upgrade to one of our premium accounts.

As illustrated in the table above, the “free account” has time, quality, and end-use limitations. It may be a good temporary solution, but the premium accounts are much more flexible. When choosing the right Premium account for you it is important to think about your specific needs. How important is the video quality? How long do you need/want your videos to be? How many styles and tunes do you anticipate using over time? Also, do you need/want complete ownership over your PowToons? These are all very relevant questions when trying to decide which account type is the most appropriate for you.

The “Pro account” is a great stepping stone for those who aren’t sure if they should upgrade or not. In terms of flexibility it offers you more than the free account in the sense that the PowToon watermark is excluded, and you can use any PowToon template for the purpose of enhancing the brand of your business. The quality of your video will also jump from SD to HD, but you will still have a limit on the length of the video (15 minutes). The number of royalty-free styles and tunes will also increase ever so slightly, but there will still be restrictions. It is a great, cost effective, place to start in terms of upgrading, but with time you may want less restrictions and more options.

This is where our “Business account” comes in to play. You can create PowToon videos of up to 60 minutes in length without the PowToon branding, you will have unlimited styles and tunes, and as a bonus you will have third party transfer rights which is not possible with any other account.

In addition to all of the benefits we mentioned, we have some unbelievable End of the Month discounts that should make your choice to upgrade a no brainer!!!
