The video will cover the OAP Application process and required application documentation that will be required before attending an OAP Application Workshop. OAP Application
Official UCR Transcript

Your electronic “official” transcript is a document that will be emailed to you.

You may use the electronic “official” transcript from RWeb if your program does not require an official transcript be sent directly to the host institution.

HOW TO ORDER
ELECTRONIC OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT

If your application deadline is in the Winter, your transcripts must have Fall grades.

If your application deadline is in the Spring, your transcripts must have Winter grades.
Log into your RWeb

Click on Transcripts & Verifications

Click on Request Official Transcripts

Click on Send To Yourself

Click on eTranscript

Enter your Details and Continue

Review Order and Checkout

Click Next to Confirm Consent

Click Confirm to place order

You will receive your electronic “official” transcript in an email to upload to
MyUCR Abroad.

You do not need to pay for the electronic "official" transcript!

Passport Copy

Passport copy must include the photo and signature page.

As pictured!

Non-U.S.
Passports must show equivalent details.

Make sure the passport is signed and all details are showing in the copy.

If you do not have a passport or it's expired, or going to expire, order your passport immediately!

Passports must not expire within in six months of the program's end date.
Submit your MyUCR Abroad Application

Once you have uploaded the required documents submit your MyUCR Abroad Application.

You will need to apply directly for the OAP program on the OAP Program Provider Website.

If you do not apply to the OAP Program Provider, you will not be accepted to a program.

Attend an OAP Application Workshop

Required Information
for
OAP App Workshop

You will need to submit the following information to LaSharon McLean Perez at lasharon@ucr.edu,

2 days prior to your OAP Application Workshop.
1. What is the name of the OAP Program Organization Name?

2. What is the name of the OAP Program Title and Location?
Example: International Studies Abroad (ISA)

Example: Business, STEM & Spanish Language, Valparaíso & Viña del Mar, Chile
3. What is the name of the OAP Program tentative Start & End Dates?
Example: Mid Jun, 2022 - Late Jul, 2022 or  June 15, 2022 - July 30, 2022
4. Who is the University or Institution that will issue your transcripts?
Example: Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez
Do NOT write UCR or University of California, Riverside

5. Are you using Financial Aid (grants, loans or CalVets/VA benefits)?
Example: Yes, UCR Grant, Pell Grant, Stafford Loan, etc...

6. Name of your Academic Advisor. If you are a double major or have a minor you need to provide that Academic Advisors name too.
Final OAP Application Workshop Prep Tips

Both the MyUCR Abroad and OAP Provider Application is due at 11:59pm on the deadline date.

Late Applications will NOT be accepted!!!

You can submit these items after the deadline, if needed:

- Signed Passport Copy

Due as soon as you receive it.

Summer 23, Fall 23, and Year 23-24: 3/1/23
Winter 24, Spring 24, and Year (off-cycle) 2024: 5/1/23
You must attend an OAP Application Workshop by the deadline date!
