Methods
We conducted an online survey of an international social media group for people with T1DM who follow a VLCD. Respondents included adults and parents of children with T1DM. We assessed current hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) (primary measure), change in HbA1c after the self-reported beginning of the VLCD, total daily insulin dose, and adverse events. We obtained confirmatory data from diabetes care providers and medical records.
Results
Suggestive evidence of T1DM (Based on a B-tier scoring system in which researchers took into consideration age and weight at diagnosis, pancreatic autoimmunity , insulin requirement, and clinical presentation) was obtained for 273 (86%) respondents
Of 316 respondents, 131 (42%) were parents of childern 
with T1DM, and 57% were of femals sex

Results
Only 7 (2%) respondents reported diabetes-related hospitalizations in the past year,including 4 (1%) for ketoacidosis and 2 (1%) for hypoglycemia
The mean age at diagnosis was 16 -14 years, the duration of diabetes was 11-13 years, and time following a VLCD was 2.2 -3.9 years, participants had a mean daily carbohydrate intake of 36-15 g. Reported mean HBA1 was 5.67% -0.66%.

Conclusions:
Exceptional glycemic control of T1DM with low rates of adverse events was reported by a community of children and adults who consume a VLCD, the generalizability of these findings requires further studies, including high - quality randomized controlled trials

Objective
In China, a low-fat diet (LFD) is mainly recommended to help improve blood glucose levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). a low-carbohydrate diet (LCD) has been shown to be effective in improving blood glucose levels in America and England. A few studies, primarily randomized controlled trials, have been reported in China as well.
Methods
Firstly, 
we designed two 'six-point formula' methods, which met the requirements of LCD and LFD, respectively.

Fifty-six T2DM patients were recruited and randomly allocated to the LCD group (n = 28) and the LFD group (n = 28). 
The LCD group received education about LCD's six-point formula, while the LFD group received education about LFD's six-point formula. The follow-up time was three months.

The indicators for glycemic control and other metabolic parameters were collected and compared between the two groups. 
Results:
Forty-nine patients completed the study. The proportions of calories from three macronutrients the patients consumed met the requirements of LCD and LFD. Compared to the LFD group, there was a greater decrease in HbA1c level in the LCD group (-0.63% vs. -0.31%, p < 0.05). The dosages of insulin and fasting blood glucoses (FBG) in the third month were lower than those at baseline in both groups. 
Compared with baseline values, body mass index (BMI) and total cholesterol (TC) in the LCD group were significantly reduced in the third month
(p< 0.05); however, there were no statistically significant differences in the LFD group.
 CONCLUSION
LCD can improve blood glucose more than LFD in Chinese patients with T2DM. 
It can also regulate blood lipid, reduce BMI, and decrease insulin dose in patients with T2DM. 
In addition, the six-point formula is feasible, easily operable, and a practical educational diet for Chinese patients with T2DM.

Seventy seven Asian, non-diabetic women with previous GDM, between 20- 40 were randomised into Conventional healthy dietary recommendation (CHDR) and low carb diet programme, Thy were under clinical trial for six month to monitoring the blood sugar levels
Some women did not gain much weight and had a fairly normal blood sugar and the fetus was in good health because they followed(low carb diet)
-Some women did not follow a low-carb diet, gained weight and did not lower their blood sugar

Finally, we concluded that we can regulate gestational sugar and keep it in the normal range by regulate the  exact amount of carbohydrate
