Medical Devices
More than 1/3 of healthcare facilities have experienced malware. 
Medical devices, like other computer systems, can be vulnerable to security breaches, potentially impacting the safety and effectiveness of the device.
Ransomware
More than half of US hospitals had a ransomware attack in 2015
Ransomware is a type of malicious software that infects computer servers, desktops, laptops, tablets and smartphones, infiltrating through a variety of mechanisms and often spreading laterally across an institution from one device to another.
Compromised email
Healthcare entities can be at risk for compromised email attacks 
Reports show that half of the losses from cyber crime where from email compromised attacks
This is known as BEC, also known as email account compromise (EAC), involves the impersonation of a legitimate person or company to obtain money via email.
Two ways cyber security is important
Protects private and personal information from being leaked 
It establishes a security culture so that everyone is responsible for patient data.
Biometrics
Biometrics would help healthcare facilities determine who is allowed access to certain documents. 
It is impossible to breach since it needs the user's bio signature such as their fingerprint or iris.
Companies such as Samsung and MasterCard have started using EyeVerify which scan your the veins in your eyes since they are specific to each person.
There are several ways that hackers can into our system but one of the easiest would through our internet connected household appliances.
Insertable Chip
A company by the name of Arm has chips in nearly all smartphone would use big data algorithms to search all devices for suspicious behavior
There is vulnerability in every device and we need to make sure that all of them are protected
