Hi Everyone, I am going to show you this clock.  The second dial is moving, and you can probably hear the 'tick, tick' sound going on in your brain.

Interesting right?
 (Just like you can ‘hear’ these words in your brain, without someone actually narrating this).

Well, I can’t imagine the ticking sound of the clock, and it is because I have never heard the sound to an extent that it became ingrained.
One can vividly feel one of the other senses by mimicking a particular sense or mode without actually using it! Just like, you imagined the ticking sound on the previous slide without an actual ticking sound.
However, there is a catch, one needs prior exposure to the sense or mode, before one can vividly imagine it. 
 I am hard of hearing, and in that retrospect it is very difficult for me to Orally Communicate.
I often cannot hear what other people are saying!
Hence, to avoid the fear of embarrassment of repeatedly asking someone to repeat what they have said, I shied away from Oral Communication. 
 Over time, this led WOVEN to become WoVEN. While my O became smaller, WVEN increased dramatically. As a result, I became a mini Sherlock Holmes. 
I can lip read, analyze visually, observe,etc. 
I never listened to the radio, or chose projects that didn't have a listening component. 
ENGL 1102 PODCAST NIGHTMARE 
I think the ENGL 1102 Podcast will be the toughest. 
There is a solution!

I wear hearing aids.

Most of you noticed that the sound is louder. 
Next Goals
1. Listening with Ears instead of Eyes.
2. Help with Script and Bibliography.
3. Help with Technology
Conversing with Others More Verbally will help with Oral Communication the most.
