Research Question:
What is the relationship between average income level and access to adequate internet at home for Kentucky students and specifically how does my district compare, Williamstown Independent (Grant County)?
Hypothesis:
I predict that the amount of students in my district, Williamstown Independent Schools, without adequate access to the internet at home will be 25% higher than the state average due to our below average family incomes and that districts with lower incomes have higher rates of students not having adequate internet at home.

1) Select Educational data about home internet for select counties from Kentucky Department of Education: link.
2) Record data in Excel spreadsheet.
3) Select adjacent income data for counties and districts you selected from step 1 from US Department of Health & Human Services: link
4) Record data in your Excel spreadsheet.
5) Create a combo graph from data using the tools built into Excel.
6) Change the chart type to the best version to represent the data in a usable format.
7) Add/change axis labels and titles.
8) Analyze the data that is provided in your data table and data visualization.
9) Report and reflect upon findings.
10) Conduct literature review to back up your findings.

Procedure
Research Subjects
I selected 19 random counties from the state of Kentucky and selected my school district county to include in the research. The data from KDE was used to record the percentage of students who reported not having adequate internet at home during the 23-24 school year and the US Department of Health and Human Services was used to record data on average income of the counties to see if there was any correlation.

Results
Two of my four districts with the highest average incomes (Fayette county and Lyon county) had a greater percentage of students w/o adequate internet at home than the average of 7.98%, which means the other two had lower percentage of students w/o adequate internet at home. If we look at the opposite end where there were five districts below the average income of $40, 890 (Cumberland country, Magoffin county, Clay county, Fulton county, and Bell county), three of those counties had lower percentage of students w/o adequate internet than the average of 7.98% and only two had a higher percentage.
Conclusion
Looking at the data we can see that income level, in particular, having below average income, has a roughly 7% effect size on increased rates of not having adequate internet at home. My home district, contrary to my predictions, has higher than average income and lower than average students without adequate internet at home.
