What is an 
ECHO CHAMBER? 
An ECHO CHAMBER is a situation where people only hear opinions of one type, or opinions similar to their own. Because of this, other alternative ideas are not considered.
ECHO CHAMBERS
can happen anywhere, as long as there is an exchange of information. Either 
ONLINE or OFFLINE. 
But since almost all of us are hanging around the internet or DIGITAL CITIZENS – more and more quickly we are buried in an echo chamber.

ADAPTIVE ALGORITHMS
is a social media tool that     
  analyzes our interests and 
     will flood us with information
         that will keep us scrolling. 
          Of course, the longer we 
        stay on their site, the more 
       advertisers there are, the  
     more revenue they get!
And because we are buried in these echo chambers, we lose the opportunity to look at other perspectives.
IDENTIFY & RECOGNIZE YOUR ECHO CHAMBERS
We think we are always RIGHT even if sometimes what we think is already WRONG.
TRANSFORM & EXPAND
YOUR MEDIA ENGAGEMENT
How can you avoid echo chambers?
 
EXPAND OR ENHANCE your sources of information.

Adding some media sources with differing opinions will allow you to at least understand what people outside of your echo chamber are saying.
Be sure to read everything you see critically.

Be responsible and find reliable new sources of information that are known for trying to filter out false narratives
