Hi Scholars!
Welcome to Reading Circle!
Here's a little information about your Reading Circle Teachers.

Meet Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell
Mr. Mitchell is a big supporter of Reading Circle.  He does a lot the "behind the scenes" work with technology for CAAP.

He and Mrs. Mitchell met way back when they were 18 and attending UCLA.

Fun fact about 
Mrs. Mitchell!
Mrs. Mitchell earned a 
Masters in Education from 
Vanderbuilt Unveristy.

She's now a counselor 
at Claremont High School.
They have two beautiful daughters!
Joy (on the right) is currently a tenth grader
at DBHS.
Nia recently graduated from Diamond Bar High School (DBHS).

She's now attending UCR (University of California Riverside)

Meet Mr. James 
and 
Dr. James!
They both attended HBCUs (Historically Black Colleges and Universities).

Dr. James attended Spelman College where she studied psychology.

Mr. James attended Morehouse College where he studied computer science.
Mr. James also has a graduate degree from UCR
Dr. James earned a Ph.D. from Loyola University, Chicago
Mr. and Dr. James have three great children
This is Olivia.  She's in 10th grade at DBHS.

She'd like to attend NYU and study theatre.
That's Harrison on the right. He's 12.

Elliott (on the left) is 10.

Harrison wants to attend MIT to become an engineer.

Elliott was part of Reading Circle for two years.  He's now in 5th grade.   He wants to attend Yale to study law.

Meet Mr. and Mrs. Campbell
Mr. Campbell built the Reading Circle Library.

Mrs. Campbell attended University of Illinois, Chicago.

Symone is 
a recent 
graduate of 
UC Berkley!

Noah attends
Cal Poly Pomona.
