Nowadays, ads are more exaggerated and a lot of puffing is used. It seems like the advertisers lack knowledge of ethical norms and principles.
The main area of interest for advertisers is to increase their sales, gain more customers, and increase the demand for the product by presenting a well-decorated and colorful ad. They claim that their product is the best, having unique qualities than the competitors, more cost-effective, and more beneficial. But most of these ads are found to be false, misleading customers, and unethical.

That's why we need to be careful when choosing online products. We need to make sure that the advertisement gives us the correct information. We also need to be clear on pricing and do not make exaggerated claims about the product.
Experience in Dealing
 UNETHICAL ADVERTISING 
Due to the Covid-19 lockdown, online shopping has increased manifold. And due to that many new websites and stores have come up with their advertisement through social media.
I have seen an advertisement for a maxi dress. I like the dress in the ad. So, I placed an order for this dress through Whatsapp and I got the link from Instagram. Next, I made an online payment as it has no COD option.
For 20 days straight I didn't get any update about my parcel I couldn't get replies to my Whatsapp. After one month of trying to contact the seller, she blocked my number on Whatsapp.

Then, I realized that I have been scammed. I cannot get my money back and did not get my parcel.
In conclusion, we need to be more careful to believe in advertisements because there is some unethical advertisement to make more profit rather than make customer satisfied.
