Math Fluency: Multiplication
The Math Fluency Subtests include: 
Math Fluency - Addition
Math Fluency - Subtraction
Math Fluency - Multiplication

Measures written mathematics calculation fluency (speed and accuracy)
for each subtest, the student is asked to complete as many problems as he or she can within  a 60-second time limit
General Administration Guideline
Note: the student may NOT use a calculator
The student must write his or her response using a pencil WITHOUT an eraser
Erasure marks can make the student's response difficult to read and score
erasing can hinder the student's rate of performance
students must correct errors by marking out and rewriting
materials

Time Limit: 60 seconds

when administering. . .
monitor the student's performance
ensure that he or she writes in the appropriate spaces in the Response Booklet
Complete the problem from left to right, row by row, down the first page and then down the second page from left to right, row by row
if the student does not complete the problem in the order specified, do not stop timing, but immediately redirect the student to the appropriate item order 
The items must be completed in this order, otherwise the validity of the scores may be compromised

use the answer keys provided in appendix C to score each response
1 point (full credit) or 
0 points (no credit)

if the students response matches the correct response listed in the answer key: record a small check mark beside the item in the Response Booklet

if the students response does not match the correct response listed: 
record a small X mark beside the item in the Response Booklet

calculating the raw score
sum the scores of all items completed within the time limit
