I have successfully cultivated lettuce, herbs, and spices hydroponically. I propagted different houseplants asexually in the system. All extra produce is donated to the cafeteria to support self sustainibility

Avg. 3 lbs. of lettuce per week!
        The Pecan SAE began as a brand-new project in October 2022. The past season was very productive, yielding over 100 gallons of pecans. This year, Pecan production hasdecreasedd by 70% due to the lack of rain.

-Harvesting: rolling them off the ground)
-Processing: separating good ones from bad ones
-Packaging: using food safety guidelines, bagged and distributed pecans

The entire operation was done by hand with over 30 hours invested
Greenhouse
Management
 Last year, we raised over 50 species of plants from plugs or seeds. Daily responsibilities included watering, tending, weeding, and managing. We made over $20k.
Greenhouse Management: today
 We are currently renovating the greenhouse. We have invested a little over $3k in plants to raise for this year’s plant sale.
Calibrachoa "million bell" is a common greenhouse plant.

I relandscaped the horse barn cabin back to its former self
Below, the weeds are uncontrolled, and the flowers are scraggly.
Left, the blue circles represent plants that need to be trimmed back for the winter. The red plants represent weeds.
Right, I am trimming back the Black-eyed Susan and the Black Taro. These plants will benefit greatly from this trimming in spring.
