Earth charter
The Earth Charter (EC) is a document with sixteen principles powering a global movement. When you apply it to your business, school or community, you begin turning conscience into action to make all life on Earth thrive.

The EC is an ethical foundation for actions to build a more just, sustainable, and peaceful global society in the 21st century. It articulates a mindset of global interdependence and shared responsibility. It offers a vision of hope and a call to action.
Flora and fauna of assam
Assam

Assam is gifted with varieties of flora and fauna including world famous the Great Indian One Horned Rhino, Pigmy Hog, Royal Bengal Tiger, Elephant, Swamp Deer, Gangetic Dolphin,  Stump-tailed Macaque and Pig-tailed Macaque etc. The vegetation of Assam is primarily of tropical type covering areas of evergreen, semi-evergreen, grasslands, deciduous forests, grasslands and riverside forests. Some important tree species found in Assam are Hoooong, Gurjan, Mekai, Kurta, Nahar etc. 
Flora and fauna of Meghalaya
MEGHALAYA
Meghalaya harbours about 3,128 species of flowering plants and contributes about 18% of the total flora of the country, including 1,237 endemic species (Khan et al 1997). A wide variety of wild cultivable plants, edible fruits, leafy vegetables and orchids are found in the natural forests of Meghalaya.Other animals found here are Leopard, Leopard cat, Jungle cat, Marbled Cat, Elephant, Gaur, Sambar, Serow, Barking deer etc. 
Flora and fauna of MIZORAM
MIZORAM
Mizoram is host to numerous species of birds, wildlife and flora. Common animals observed in Mizoram forests include Slow loris, Red Serow, Goral, Tiger, Leopard, Clouded Leopard, Asiatic black bear, Sun bear etc. The state is also home to many reptiles, amphibians, fish and invertebrates. The State has diverse plant species. Bamboo is common in the state, typically intermixed with other forest vegetation. Some common plants are Hlothar, Phaiphek, Hnahkiah, Japan-hlo, Kawldai etc.
FLORA AND FAUNA OF NAGALAND
Nagaland

Dominant wild animals found in this region are Stag, Bear, Mithun, Sloth, Barking Deer, Mountain Deer, Wild Hog, the rare Pangolin, Elephant and varieties of Monkeys. The commonly found birds are Hornbill, varieties of pigeons including royal pigeon, parrot etc. The dominating plants are Bonsum, Alder, Oak species, Nzam, wild cherries, apples, lemons, walnut etc. At the foothill, Gomari, Holloc, Neem, Mango, Amla and Bamboo species are the dominant species. 
FLORA AND FAUNA OF Manipur
MANIPUR
67% of the geographical area of Manipur is hill tract covered forests. Depending on the altitude of hill ranges, the climatic condition varies from tropical to sub-alpine. There are forests of teak, pine, oak, uningthou, leihao, bamboo, and cane. Rubber, tea, coffee etc. It is a home to a wide variety of animals.  The Hoolock Gibbon, the Slow Loris, the Clauded Leopard, the Spotted Linshang etc. are the most common among these.
FLORA AND FAUNA OF tRIPURA
TRIPURA

Two-thirds of the state is forested where different species of trees, orchids, birds and wildlife are found. Primates (including spectacle langur, capped langur, pig-tailed macaque, slow loris), Barking deer, Clouded Leopard, Wild boar etc. dominant the wildlife here. The forests in the State are mainly tropical evergreen, semi evergreen, and moist deciduous. The plants found are cotton tree, baheda, east Indian almond, white siris etc.
FLORA AND FAUNA OF ARUNACHAL PRADESH
ARUNACHAL PRADESH
Arunachal Pradesh is famous for rare species of orchids, which are found in all types of forests, altitudinal ranges, and rainfall conditions. Other plants such as monkshood, English yew, mayapple, elephant ear, rhubarb, barberry etc. are a few of such species that grow abundantly in the high altitude alpine and temperate belts of the state. The many unspoilt tree-clad slopes contain tigers, leopards, elephants, deers, bears and apes. The Mithun, or ‘bos frontalis’ exists both in wild and semi-domesticated form.
