intelligence
It is the ability to recognize, understand, and deal skillfully with one's own emotions and the emotions of others
As by regulating one's emotions or by showing empathy and good judgment in social interactions

EI is often misunderstood. Let's debunk some common false beliefs about it
EI can’t be improved 
 EI is just about being nice 
EI is the opposite of intellectual intelligence 
EI means suppressing emotions
There’s no downside to having a high EI
EI means suppressing emotion
It helps express your emotions appropriately, not suppress them
If you’re angry, it doesn’t mean ignoring your feelings but rather expressing in an unharmful way to others.
EI is just about beng nice 
Emotional intelligence isn’t about pleasing everyone. It’s about being assertive and setting boundaries when necessary
 EI can’t be improved 
By identifying daily emotions and consciously working on managing them, you can develop EI.
 EI is the opposite of intellectual intelligence 
They both actually complement each other.
Successful individuals often balance both 
There’s no downside to having a high EI
Sadly, learning how to read the emotions of others can put power in the hands of people who have a lot of empathy but use it to exploit, bully and manipulate people.
EI is influenced by our childhood, community, culture and more.
People with high EI are able to make better decisions that improve their daily lives. They are more aware of their own emotions and those of others, and they use that awareness to set boundaries
Understanding the true nature of EI can transform our interactions and personal growth.
 Sometimes we will have to unlearn some bad habits before we can learn better ones
