Example 2: Missing data for adjacent line
Question: Calculate the missing distance of QR and the missing bearing of RS 
These are the steps:

1) Create a missing line from point Q to point S and calculate both the bearing and the distance of this line.
2) Solve the triangle formed by points S, Q, and R.
3) Determine the angles SQR and QRS.
4) Determine distance QR using sine or cosine formula.
I know to solve it!!
1) Missing line SQ = 115.935m, 236 47 23

2) Solve the triangle SQR

Angle SQR = 39 20 33

3) Determine distance QR using sine formula  
75.281 / sin 39 20 33 = 115.935 / sin <R
<R = 77 30 13

:. Bearing RS = 299 56 37

Dist. RQ;
RQ/ sin 63 09 14 = 115.935 / sin 77 30 13
RQ = 105.950m

How about if calculate the distance QR using cosine formula:
(75.281)2= (115.935)2 + (𝑄𝑅)2 – 2 (115.935) (QR) cos 39 20 33
= 7773.695 + (𝑄𝑅)2 - 179.328 QR

QR = (x – 105.972) (x – 73.356)
QR = 73.356m

73.356/ sin S = 75.281 / sin 39 20 33
S = 38 09 06

Bearing SR = 56 47 23 + 38 09 06
SR = 94 56 29 @ CD = 274 56 29

In some cases, when there is an ambiguous triangle, it needs to be solved using the cosine formula. Therefore, it is better to use the cosine formula to solve it
