Sex and Gender 
In modern history gender has been equated to sex assigned at birth 
In more current times society is challenging that idea. 
With declaring preferred pronouns  becoming part of daily routine
I Identify as they/them
I use she/her pronouns
and gender being a social construct
In this way we are making the distinction between sex being biological 
Gender is heavily influenced by assigned sex at birth
Depending on how your gender identity aligns with your sex affects your label
If your gender identity aligns with your sex 
You are 
If your gender identity aligns with your sex 
If your gender identity
DOES NOT align with your sex 
You may be 
Trans gender, or gender queer
Cisgender
Your gender identity is usually affirmed socially with pronouns.  
She
They
He
Alot of people still face hate, discrimination, mis-gendering, and in extreme cases violence everyday

Although this seems very simple to respect

the issue

(and pass the information forward with friends and collegues)

Make inquiring pronouns a habit

and don't blindly assume gender=sex

Its my dream that
Everyone feels free to live their lives as true to themselves and get accepted by others around them

so we can all feel safer navigating life every day
