WHAT IS DIODE LOGIC GATE
A logic gate is a fundamental building block of digital circuits that performs a basic logical operation. It takes one or more binary inputs (0 or 1) and produces a single binary output based on a specific rule. Logic gates are used in various applications, including computer processors, memory devices, and electronic control systems.
An AND gate is a type of logic gate that outputs a binary 1 (TRUE) only when all its inputs are 1 (TRUE). If any input is 0 (FALSE), the output will be 0 (FALSE).

Let’s take a look at the symbol for logic gate (AND).
HOW LOGIC GATE (AND) OPERATE? 
OPERATION
When both inputs are high (A=1, B=1): 
Current flows through both diodes, allowing the output to reach high (1).

When one input is low (A=0 or B=0): 
The corresponding diode prevents current from flowing through the circuit, so the output is low (0).

When both inputs are low (A=0 and B=0): 
Both diodes block the current flow, resulting in a low output (0).

Advantages of Diode Logic
Simplicity
Cost-Effective
The design is very simple and easy to implement with a small number of components.
Diode logic gates are cheap because diodes and resistors are inexpensive
What are the limitation of diode logic gate?
Diode logic only works for AND gates, so it cannot generate NOT or OR operations without additional circuitry.
No Inversion
They may consume more power in some configurations.

Speed
Diode logic gates are slower compared to other logic gates like CMOS or TTL gates because diodes have a slow response time.
Application for logic gate
•Diode logic gates were used in early digital computers and circuits, but today they are mostly of historical interest, as more efficient and faster logic families (like TTL and CMOS) have replaced them.
