Background of the Company
Domino's Pizza started with just one store called "DomiNick's".
In 1983, Domino's opened its first international store in Winnipeg, Canada, followed by its first store on the Australasian continent in Queensland, Australia.
Domino’s Pizza Malaysia  first began its operations in 1997. From a single store in USJ with a headcount of 15 staffs, the pizza chain today has over 240 stores in Malaysia.

Domino's Pizza Malaysia as its name sell pizza as their main product. Domino’s Pizza also provides delivery service to their customers for any order from their menus. In 2003, Domino’s Pizza Malaysia launched www.dominos.com.my, which is the first online ordering platform of its kind in the country.
In 2019, the Domino’s Malaysia site has Pizza Builder, allowing customers to see their pizza come to life on the computer screen, while Domino's Tracker, allowing customers to follow the progress of the order from the time it's placed until they receive it.

Domino’s also have pizza deals and promos featured on the website in order to provide even more value to our customers. Domino’s Pizza innovations simply help people with delivering a great pizza to the customers’ door efficiently.

How Domino's Deals with their Supplier?
Every Domino's outlets receive the business’ raw material from it headquarter - Wisma Domino’s, Shah Alam, Selangor. Each of Domino’s outlets in Malaysia does not interfere with their raw materials supplier as this matter is manage by the headquarters.
How Domino's Treats their Employees?
Domino's Pizza Malaysia knows their employees are core to their success. Domino's treat each other with dignity, respect, and they value the differences each team member brings. One of the initiatives Domino’s implements to appreciate their employees is by giving incentive by cash.
How Domino's Treats their Customers?
According to Domino’s Kota Laksamana’s manager, if customers complain that the pizza, they received are already cold, Domino’s will replace their orders with the new ones. It is also depended on the staff's consideration as Domino’s always keep the pizza hot in pizza oven. If customers received their order late, they will be given coupon as a compensation.
Corporate Social responsibility (CSR) activities performed by the company
• 20 charitable homes in Kuala Lumpur chosen by the media received a delicious treat from Domino’s Pizza throughout the months of Ramadan and Syawal. They include welfare homes, old folk’s homes and orphanage homes in the Klang Valley as well as those in the East Coast region.
Corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities performed by the company
• In conjunction with the month of Ramadan and in giving back to the community, Domino’s Pizza Malaysia kickstart celebrates the holy spirit of the season with a range of corporate social responsibility initiatives.
• Domino’s also invites the Royal Malaysia Police and Rela officers as the attendees. These special individuals were recognised for their commitment in placing their duties and responsibilities before themselves come rain or shine, particularly during the Ramadan period.
Ethical Problem or Issue Faced by the Company
“Users Spam Domino's Pizza Malaysia with Police Memes After Customer Service Fiasco”

• On 22 September 2019, a customer posted on Facebook his harried experience being questioned by three police officers from the commercial crimes unit at a Domino's store in Tanka, Johor, for allegedly hacking into Domino's ordering system to make him payless.
•  The customer explained that he had bought a legal coupon from an e-commerce platform and used it to get a discount, but had not hacked into the system. As the police were satisfied with his explanation, the matter was settled.
How the Company Solved the Issue
•  Domino’s decided to post a public apology on Facebook on 27 September 2019, explaining that it had resolved the issue with affected customer. Domino’s solved the problem by giving the customer free pizza.

•  From the company perspective, Domino's Pizza Malaysia is always committed in producing Halal products where the ingredients used are from Halal sources and certified suppliers.

• Domino's Pizza Malaysia are also very dedicated in adjusting priorities based on Halal requirements outlined by JAKIM, the Food Act and related regulations.

• Halal integrity is maintained from the source of raw materials to the preparation, packaging and delivery according to Domino's Pizza Malaysia standards. Domino's Pizza Malaysia strive to make continuous improvements to ensure our products are Halal and safe.
