~ Integer programming is a natural extension of linear programming when decision variables represent discrete choices.

~ Mixed Integer programming is when some variables are continuous and some are discrete
~ Integer linear program is all variables are required to be integer

~ Binary linear program is when all variables are binary

~ Linear optimization problem is where some or all variables are required

~ Integer programming problem which all variables required to be integer (also known as pure integer programming)
