- Problems determined by gender norms.
- Societal differentiation between men and women.
What are
Gender Issues?
- The women in US get payed less than men even though they were more educated than them.
- They earned 83 cents for every dollar men made in 2020.
Issue 1
- The way in which women's skill are valued compared to men's.
- Segregation in the labour market.
Causes:
Country:
- Gives a bad name to the country.
Society:
- Less women interested to work.
Impact on:
- Should be payed equally regardless of their gender.
- Should be payed based on their skill.
Solutions:
- Mohan Maniam was accused of touching the back of the complainant.

Issue 2
- Claimed that he was only reaching for his bottle.
- Excuses as a way of getting away with harassment.
Causes:
Country:
- Country's safety in jeopardy
- Affect's peace and well-being
Society:
- Being more cautious and ready.
Impact on:
- Raise awareness
- Reinforce a strict and firm law
Solutions:
- 129 Million girls are out of school.
- 32 Million of primary age, 30 Million of lower-secondary age and 67 Million of upper-secondary age.
Issue 3
- Families often favor boys in education.
- Some schools does not meet the needs of girls.
- Some teaching practices are not gender-responsive.
Causes:
Country:
- Wouldn't have been well educated.
- Disruption to future.
- Affects economic growth.
- Indirectly affects investment and population 
growth.
Society:
- Follow their footsteps.
- Thinking its acceptable to drop out of school.
Impact on:
- Focus teacher training professional development.
- Tackle discriminatory gender norms.
- Ensure budgets are gender-responsive.
