colour poem
Chameleon
The chameleon changes his colour
to look like a tree or a wall
he reflexes his emotions 
happy or sad
for everyone to see
he sits on the grass
and changes green 
pretends his is nothing at all
wish i could change my skin
to match  my emotions

Pink
All a sudden he changes colour from green to pink
to scare the birds
he is telling them to best beware 
but behind the scary looks is a scared and timid lizzard
but he hides it all when he is pink.

Green 
Pink to green as fast as i can blink 
to blend back in
calm and relaxed waiting for night to swing by

Dark Blue
Danger, Danger
in fear he changes
if he rolls into a ball
will they see him?
danger passes
he will go about his day
but he will stay blue till he's sure he  safe.

Yellow
He changes yellow 
when there is a female to impress
he will be bright
as  he can  be 
hopeful she will stop and see

Orange
Orange is normal, 
boring and plain as can be 
just sitting and eating on the leaves
 nothing to be
just sleepy as can be

Multi-Colour
He's every colour he can be 
just showing off
just feeling fine 
un-sure what colour to be
no one really knows how he's feeling 
so he's all of them, showing his feelings for everyone to see

He matches his colours to show who he is, 
sometimes he does it just to blend in or to stand out
he changes colours fast as you can blink 
but behind all the colours he is the same friendly lizard.
