Good morning, Miss Cassandra and Miss Rita will be explaining how time is used in our everyday lives.

What is TIME?
How can we use it?
- Time is used in many different ways 
- Used in our everyday lives
- Reading the clocks
- The days of the week
- The month of the year
- Parts of the day: Morning, Midday, or Evening
Different types of clocks
An analogue clock and 
a digital clock
- Am and Pm are very important
- AM means before 12 p.m.
- PM indicates after 12 p.m. 
- This will help us to understand the specific events occurring throughout the day.
What do you do at 8 a.m.?
I wake up.
I eat my breakfast.
What do you usually do at 8 p.m?
I brush my teeth.
I read a book before bed-time. 
Things we can use to measure time:
Hourglass
Stopwatch
Did you know that you can convert time?

This means that seconds can be turned into minutes; for example, 60 seconds can be seen as 1 minute. 
Hours are able to turn into days, for example, 24 hours in 1 day.
How many days are in 48 hours?
Correct, it is 2 days.
