to get your family out of danger quickly and efficiently.
Tip 1
KNOW THE SAFE ROUTE FROM HOME TO THE EVACUATION CENTER
Tip 2
List emergency hotlines and contact details of relatives or friends who can be called in times of emergency
 because many unexpected situations arise.
Family and community preparedness planning can enhance community readiness and reduce the impact of disaster by expediting recovery in the aftermath of unpreventable catastrophes.
Tip 3
Explain to your family what may happen in your area
Being prepared can reduce fear, anxiety, and losses that accompany disasters. Communities, families, and individuals should know what to do in the event of a fire and where to seek shelter during a powerful storm.
Tip 4
Practice and memorize family protocols (fire, typhoon, flood, earthquake, volcanic eruption, etc.)
Disasters can also happen when your family is not together. Choose a regional meeting place outside your neighborhood in case you cannot go home.
