What is it?
The CPU, or Central Processing Unit is a component in all computers which provides all instructions and processing power to the computer.
The CPU is essentially the "Brain" of the computer. The CPU is constantly following instructions of computer programs that tell it which data to process and how to process it.

Without a CPU, we could not run programs on a computer.

As discussed in in the previous video, there are a lot of chips in all sorts of computers everywhere! However, one would not need the highest end chip for typical senior school work!
With that being said, what would be the ideal chip for students? This chip should be powerful enough to run softwares such as Google Chrome, Spotify, SketchUp and more education related softwares!

Core i5 processors are great all-purpose chips, offering solid performance for gaming, web browsing, and light productivity tasks.

The Intel Core i7 has more processing power and is better for high-performance gaming, content creation, multimedia editing, and specialized applications.

Clocked speed: 4.9GHz

AMD Ryzen 5
AMD's Ryzen 5 offers decent performance for non-gaming tasks, but it trails slightly in the AMD and Intel CPUs in the benchmarks, making it a second-tier pick.

The Ryzen 7 has been one of AMD's best desktop processors since its launch in 2020. It provides the user with ample processing power, and with 8 physical cores,  multitasking is easy.

Yes, the Chip IS crucial, however, there are other components that should be considered.

Size
A 12" to 15" would be most ideal, for it is big enough to see content, but small enough to fit bags
RAM
At least 8GB of RAM would be needed, considering Google Chrome takes abour 3GB, and the system takes about 2GB to run.

With the few chips, it can be concluded that the Intel i5 be the most ideal chip, because it not only provices sufficient power, but also allows the user to have minimal lag due to the efficiency of the 4 core chip! Good luck in buying YOUR laptop!
