Meningkatkan sistem informasi & Menetapkan Standarisasi 
Jika negara meningkatkan informasi yang tersedia bagi importir tentang standar yang mana barang dan jasa diproduksi, maka setiap pembeli kemudian dapat membuat keputusan yang paling sesuai dengan keadaannya. Negara yang menentang ketenagakerjaan anak-anak akan membeli barang yang diketahui tidak melibatkan anak-anak sebagai pekerjan, namun dengan harga yang lebih mahal. Negara yang tidak menentang akan tetap membeli produk tersebut. Hal ini kemudian menghilangkan standarisasi global terkait ketenagakerjaan.
