the government will take the Performance Bond.

Performance Bond will be refund to the contractor after contractor get CMGD

SUBMISSION : 
submit 5% from the contract sum if percentage is not stated.

FORM OF PB:
 needs to follow the contract term and condition that had been applied.

PB VALIDITY:
must be valid until 3 month after completion date or otherwise contractor need to extent the PB

FAILURE TO EXTEND PB:
 employer can deduct amount of equal to the PB from any payment.

PB PAYMENT:
employer can use the PB if there is breach of contract. any balance shall be refunded to the contractor without interest.

RETURN OF PB:
PB must be return in 28 days
to the contractor for cancellation
CERTIFICATE OF PRACTICAL COMPLETION
(CPC) & CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE COMPLETION (CCC).

BASICALLY, (CPC) marks a point at which the contractor has completed his contractual obligation and can hand over the work to the clientarchitect confirms that the building contractor has achieved all characteristics of practical completion under the building contract. 
WHAT IS CERTIFICATE OF PRACTICAL COMPLETION?
- commonly issued by the PROJECT ENGINEER OR ARCHITECTURE
- It can also mean that work is sufficiently complete to be safely used.
- must be achieved by the DUE COMPLETION DATE
- penalty may be imposed by the employer if exceeding DUE COMPLETION DATE.

WHAT IS CCC
CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE COMPLETION
CCC is literally a replacement of CF. CCC is a written Certificate stating that the construction work has been completed and complied with the condition stipulated in permit granted.

MPSP says CCC is a certificate that verify the building is safe and fit for occupation.
-this certificate will only be used after cons complied with provisions of the law, approved building plan and also condition set by local authorities in approval of building plan.

- Improve public services delivery.
- Clarify that the building requirement had met the regulations.
