Hello!
My name is Resi, and I'm doing  an audio-visual presentation on 
RESILIENCE
What is resilience?
“Resilience refers to both the process and the outcome of successfully adapting to difficult or challenging life experiences”

- American Psychological Association (APA).

What is resilience?
“It’s the ability to withstand adversity and bounce back and grow despite life’s downturns,” 
                                      - Amit Sood, MD,

People who are more resilient are more likely to solve problems or ask for help when they need it and have a can-do attitude.
What does resilience
look like?
I can 
do it!
While, people who are less resilient are likely to struggle under pressure and experience things such as anxiety and depression. They often feel deflated and hopeless when things go wrong.
FILIPINO RESilience
The word “resilience” has been thrown around to describe the ability of the Filipino people to bounce back immediately after hardship or difficulties.

In the midst of Covid-19 last year, several typhoons hit the Philippines. Dozens of people died while infrastructure damage amounted to billions of dollars. During severe tropical storms, towns built out of discarded materials are swept away by the water.

“Filipino resilience” is a result of necessity.

Filipinos are lifting themselves up to relaunch a life they have lived many times over rather than grieving in their loss.
Filipinos gained the ability to value what they had, utilize it well, and put up with setbacks.
Resilience is a skill that you can develop and it takes practice over time, you can become better and better in solving problems when they arise.
