COVID-19 is a highly contagious respiratory virus spread mainly person-to-person through sneezes, or talks. It can also be spread by touching objects with the virus on them and then touching your face, eyes, nose, or mouth.

Symptoms and signs are related and vary from mild to serious and appear from 2 up-to 14 days after exposure. Symptoms and signs are fever, cough, tiredness, loss of appetite or taste, and shortness of breath. Severe illness results in pneumonia, organ dysfunction, and death. Older individuals and individuals with comorbidities are liable to develop serious disease.
