Creating a Technology-Driven Learning Culture
How should we evaluate technology solutions?
To be very clear, 
we are in the Learning business,
and can be enabled by technology
as you have 
mentioned that
and Learning can 
be informed
It's a very clear 
objective.
One of the things that we have learned
over the years is
eLearning by itself is...
you know, 
for a long time.
[Learning]
So I've been in the business of English and eLearning
so we said that's great, give it to everybody
and then we saw learner achievement rates go down.
and so technology was introduced,
but really we all forgot about the learning outcomes.
and it was nice, 
we had LMS's 
so let's put the content in the LMS's,
Nobody uses it.
And so I think it

on only one thing,
which is:

has to be focused
Does this actually 
move the needle
in terms of skill improvement?
If it doesn't, then regardless
of how engaging this technology is
or how great it is,
then it really 
doesn't matter
to us as learning professionals.
