What is Air Pollution?
Air pollution is a mix of particles and gases that can reach harmful concentrations both outside and indoors. Its effects can range from higher risks of diseases to rising temperatures. Soot, smoke, mold, pollen, methane, carbon dioxide are a just few examples of common pollutants.
Types of Air Pollution
Indoor Air Pollution:
Outdoor Air Pollution:
Indoor air pollution occurs when particles, and gases from the outside contaminate the air of indoor areas. Tobacco smoke, cooking indoors without proper ventilation, carbon monoxide from home furnaces are other examples.
Outdoor air pollution is the contamination of the air by such things as car emissions, factories, nuclear power-plants.
The Effects on our Environment 
Air pollution and the release of gasses into the atmosphere can have many negative effects on the environment. It can cause acid rain which is when toxic gasses emitted into the atmosphere are then transported by wind and air currents. This can cause harm to oceans, forests, etc.

The Clean Air Act, a law first passed in 1963 defines EPA's responsibilities for protecting and improving the nation's air quality and ozone layer. It is one of the United States' first and most influential modern environmental laws, and one of the most comprehensive air quality laws in the world.
What is currently being done to help reduce Pollution?  
What can you do to help minimize Air Pollution?
Conserve energy – remember to turn off lights, computers, and electric appliances when not in use. Make sure you recycle products that are reusable. Participate in your local utility's energy conservation programs. Use electric or hand-powered lawn care equipment. Ride share, walk or ride your bike when possible
Remember, No Pollution is the right Solution!
