Christine Sinclair is a Canadian professional soccer player who plays as a forward and captins both the NWSL club the Portland Thorns FC and the Canadian national team.  She is an Olympic gold medalist, two-time Olympic bronze medallist, and a 14- time winer of the Canada Soccer Player of the Year award.

Sinclair was born on June 12th 1983 in Burnaby Canada, now she is currently 40 years old. Another fact about her is that Sinclair is the worlds all- time leader for international goals scored for men or women with 190 goals.
Although Sinclair is an amazing player, she is an even more amazing Person on and off the pitch.

Christien Sinclar is very active when it coems to doing work in her community. She is a big supporter of the MS socitey of Canada which helps for research in sclerosis. 
Community 
She is as well very active in the Canadian Womens Foundation donating large sums of money towards the foundation each year. This foundatiosn helps with womens rights all across the country and to empower women in sports, work, school, ext.

Sinclair is known throught the soccer community of being able to speak at the right time. She knows exactly how to comfort her teamates and how to "encourgae us" says former teamate Bella Bixby. "She is a source of power for us," Bixby also states.  
When to Speak 
   
Chritien Sinclair is a like  mentioned before a very big actvist when it comes to womens rights within sports. She has been working non stop with the Canadian soccer association to ensure equal pay. She and the rest of the Canadian womesn team wore shirst to a game that said "Enough is enough." Sinclair later states in an interview with AP news, “Pay equity is actually just a little piece of the puzzle ”. It’s about equal treatment. It’s about equal opportunities, equal resources, and honestly, until that happens, we’re going to be at a stalemate.”

Role Modle 
Sinclair is a huge role model for so many girls across canada as she demonstrates what it means to be a player on and off the pitch. She teaches girls to never stop playigng what you love and to fight for rights that you deserve. Overall she is a great leader and knows how to stand up for the things she is trully passionate about.
