FINAL CHECKLIST
Hello! In this episode we are going to cover course planning and enrolment one last time.

Be Ready for your
Enrolment Appointment
Level 1 students begin enroling between June 26th and 28th. You have been randomly assigned an enrolment appointment and may enrol any time after your appointment opens.
If enrolment isn’t going as planned, try a different lecture time or term offering. Be sure to enroll in your science required courses first, always choose your electives last.

You have been given an enrolment appointment which indicates the specific date and time you can begin enroling in courses.  
- Go to your Mosaic Student Center
- Under Academics click 'Enrol' 
- Click on the 'Term Information' tab 
- Select 'View My Enrolment Dates'
When does Enrolment Close?
You are able to enrol in both Fall and Winter Term courses anytime after your enrolment appointment opens.
 
If you don't have the perfect timetable right away, not to worry, you can continue to make changes. The last day for enrolment and course changes (drop/add):

Fall Term - September 11, 2024
Winter Term - January 14, 2025

Validating Your Shopping Cart in 
MyTimetable
Not meeting the Winter Term course requisites? 
- Read the Co-Requisites, Prerequisites and Antirequisites carefully. 
  You must meet all stated requisites to enrol in any course.

- Winter Term courses that require Prerequisites from the Fall Term will not validate until your enrolment appointment has opened and you have enroled in your Fall Term courses.

- A course is meeting a Prerequisite upon enrolment only, not if added to your shopping cart. 
Common Enrolment Mistakes
Not meeting the course requisites? 
- Read the Co-Requisites, Prerequisites and Antirequisites carefully.

- You must meet all stated requisites to enrol in any course.

Course Conflicts?
- Try enroling in a different lecture, lab or tutorial time.

- Always enrol in your science required courses first.

- Choose your electives last.
Course Requisites
Prerequisite:
You must meet all stated requisites to enrol in any course.
- A requirement to be fulfilled before registration in a course is permitted. 
  This is usually the successful completion of another course.

Antirequisite:
- A course which cannot be taken before, after or at the same time as          another course with which it is listed.
e.g. KINESIOL 1YY3 (Winter Term), requires enrolment of KINESIOL 1Y03 (Fall term) as a prerequisite.
e.g. MATH 1A03 is an antirequisite to MATH 1LS3
Course Load
Full Course Load  
(Common for Level I Science Students)
Fall Term and Winter Term = 30 units 
(10 courses total, 5 courses per term)
Full-Time Student
An undergraduate student who is registered in at least 9 units (3 courses) in a term
Part-Time Student
An undergraduate student who is registered in fewer than 9 units in a term
Which courses should I take?

- MEDRADSC 1E03 - Inquiry in Medical Radiation Sciences

- BIOLOGY 1A03 - Cellular and Molecular Biology 
- KINESIOL 1Y03 - Human Anatomy and Physiology I 
- KINESIOL 1YY3 - Human Anatomy and Physiology II

- One of: 
  MATH 1A03 - Calculus For Science I  
  MATH 1LS3 - Calculus for the Life Sciences I 
  MATH 1MM3 - Applied Calculus

- 6 units of Elective (2 courses of interest)

Which one should I take?
MATH 1A03
MATH 1LS3
Geared for students studying in the areas of Life and Environmental Sciences.

All cover common topics including: limits, continuity, derivatives and integrals.
Geared for students wishing to take additional upper level Math, Physics or Chemistry courses.
MATH 1MM3
Calculus with applications in Sciences, Social Sciences and Business.
