Introducing Our Final Year Project 
First let's know what is (WQI)
turn complex water quality data into information that is understandable and usable by the public
Water Quality Index (WQI) provides a single number that expresses the overall water quality, at a certain location and time, based on several Water quality parameters.
River on the border between Melaka and Johor. As main river in the area and its water quality is questionable.
Now we describe about the introduction
Come up with the problem statement
Industry [system, process, ways of working] is the main course of river water pollution. Human [lack of responsibility] also causes river water pollution. Market traders, eateries and resident [example: throw trash everywhere, disposal of cooking waste and removal of water from raw food materials].
This is why our
research is to identify the water quality at this river.
Our goal is to state the objective of our study
To analyze the 6 parameters BOD,COD, NH3-N, pH, DO and TSS.To analyze water quality index (WQI) of Sungai Kesang.
Step for obtaining water quality data:
Collection of Water Samples
Transport to the Laboratory
Analysis of water samples for different parameters
Analytical results of the various water parameters obtained
WQI = (0.22 X 9.225) + 
(0.19 X 61) + (0.16 X 65.5) 
+ (0.15 X 8.2) + (0.16 X 36) 
+ (0.12 X 25.5) = 89.33

Class II is good water 
quality and suitable 
for drinking water with 
treatment.

Referring to the water quality index. Sungai Kesang is in class II and is categorized  as a clean river that is suitable for drinking water with threatment.

We conclude that the 6 parameters influencing river water quality. IDW showed some emerging patterns for water quality distribution in Sungai Kesang; high BOD and pH. Domestic and agricultural runoff are the factors causing water quality degradiation in these rivers.
