Welcome to Mrs. Nester's 2nd Grade Class
I am looking forward to getting to know both my students and parents throughout this upcoming year 
Goals for the Year:

-Give my students a safe environment for learning
-Help my students reach their academic goals 
-Creating a community within my classroom 
-Teach my students information they can use in the outside world

COMMUNITY

I will create a community within my classroom by having the students work together in groups 
along with seating them with 
their peers in hopes the students ask each other for help before coming to their teacher

Teach your Students information they will need in Life

-How to interact and work with others
-Respect your elders, peers, and 
yourself
-Include everyone, race or 
where you come from doesn't matter
-Hard work is an important part 
of life

In my classroom, I use 
crafts and music to help 
create fun and unique ways 
for the students to learn
and give them a chance
to be creative

I am looking forward to the adventures this new school year will bring along with working with each of your students
