How to Communicate with Stress?
Stress is like a companion in our life, and we cannot run away from being in a stressful situation. 
Anyone can experience stress in their life including adolescents. 
 
Stress can be defined as a feeling of being overwhelmed or unable to cope with mental or emotional pressure
Stress means different things to each people. What causes stress in one person may be of little concern to another. Some people are better able to handle stress than others.
The first step to control stress is to know the symptoms of stress
how to know if you are in stress?
Stress can affect all aspects of your life, including your emotions, behavior and physical health

-Becoming easily agitated, frustrated, and moody 
-Feeling overwhelmed, like you are losing control or need to take control 
-Having difficulty relaxing and quieting your mind
 -Feeling bad about yourself (low self-esteem), lonely, worthless, and depressed
- Avoiding others
Emotional symptoms of stress include:
- Drinking alcohol too much or too often.
- Gambling
-Overeating or developing and eating disorder
-Smoking,using drugs.
-Procrastinating and avoiding responsibilities 
- Exhibiting more nervous behaviors, such as nail biting, fidgeting, and pacing

Physical symptoms of stress include:

-Aches and pains.
 -Chest pain or a feeling like your heart is racing. 
-Exhaustion or trouble sleeping. 
-Headaches, dizziness or shaking. 
-High blood pressure. 
-Muscle tension or jaw clenching. 
-Stomach or digestive problems. 
-Trouble having sex. 
-Weak immune system

It is important for you to detect and know the symptoms earlier so that you can deal with it and prevent the stress from getting worse
you can't avoid stress but there are some strategies and ways to keep it under your control
1. Identify the sources of your stress 
( you can start a stress journal where you can write how you felt, your worries or what you can do to make yourself feel better).
2. Express your feelings instead of keeping it all by yourself. - Try to talk with someone you are comfortable and trust with.
3. Avoid people who stress you out - if someone consistently causes stress in your life, limit the amount of time you spend with that person or end the relationship
4.Take a good care of your body and eat healthy. -Eating right, exercising and getting enough sleep help your body to handle the stress much better
5.Stay positive and do not overthinking over a small matter. -Always praise yourself even over small achievement and  acknowledging the good parts of your day or life.
