HOw does learning Happen?

Learning happens through four solid foundations

Belonging
Well- Being 
Engagement
Expression
Belonging:
Being connected to a community as a valued member
Well- Being:
Overall health, emotional, mental and physical. 
Engagement:
Being fully focused on the environment around them.
Expression:
Communicating through not only words, but facial expressions as well.
Greet the children with enthusiasm every morning.
Build a strong relationship with families.

Regular communication with families, regarding their child's and their own well-bring.
Create a welcoming transition from home to the childcare centre.

Open communication with families regardings things going on at the centre.
Enthusiatic, positive attitude when communicating with families.

Communicate with children through open ended conversations to encourage the conversation and keep engaged.
Big deeper into how children react to their environment, and how I can contribute.

Provide children with the words to express their feelings through self regulation posters and word walls.
Help encourage the children to communicate for themselves.

Provide families with regular communications about what their child is doing in the centre.
Be open to constructive feedback from parents and listen with constructive, objective ears.

Become confident in my abilities to communicate effectively with children and families.
Be expressive through body language when speaking with children to feed off off of their enthusiasm.

Conclusion
All foundations need to work together to provide the best opportunity for the children to thrive. Learning happens through may avenues, with many moving parts.
Parents, families and Educators must all work together to provide the best experience for the child.
