So Today We Will Learn About Recount
So What Is The Meaning Of Recount?
Recount is a text which retells events or experiences in the past. Its purpose is either to inform or to entertain the audience.
What Is Generic Structure On Recount?
Generic Sructure Of Recount:
1. Orientation: Introducing the participants, place and time
2. Events: Describing series of event     that happened in the past 3
3. Reorientation: It is optional. Stating personal comment of the writer to the story
Language Feature of Recount 
1. Introducing personal participant; I, my group, etc

2.Using chronological connection; then, first, etc

3.Using linking verb; was, were, saw, heard, etc
 
4. Using action verb; look, go, change, etc

5.Using simple past tense

Spending Holiday In Singapore
During school holidays last time, my family and I went traveling to Singapore, I arrived in Singapore in the evening. 
We stayed in a hotel The next day, we went to Universal studios in Sentosa Island. Just behind my hotel there are shops selling bus and entrance tickets to Universal Studios. My family and I had breakfast first before going there.
1.Personal Recount
After breakfast, we came out and saw a bus heading to Universal studios had come. We then ran hastily to the ticket agent. In a hurried situation I said “I want to buy tickets”, because the seller speaks very fast, I’m difficult to understand what it means. She asked “Do you want to buy a bus ticket and entrance as well?” I replied, “Yes, I want to buy tickets for 3 adults and 1 child.” Then she told the price. We were shocked because the tickets were so expensive

We had fun playing at Universal Studios. We didn’t aware that it was afternoon. I’m very disappointed because we did not have enough time to play all the rides. 
We had to go out and went back to hotel. I will never forget that holiday experience.

Sumpah Pemuda was a day that is celebrated as a pledge of the nations the homeland Indonesia. This oath was considered as a form of the spirit of the Indonesian people in upholding the ideals of Indonesian independence.

2.Historycal Recount
Sumpah Pemuda Day
The “Sumpah Pemuda” Congress was held on October 27-28, 1928 in the city of Jakarta. Then, the day was celebrated every year as the “Sumpah Pemuda” day. Several youth organizations attended the congress such as Jong Java, Jong Batak, Jong Celebes, Jong Sumatranen Bond, Jong Islamieten, Jong Ambon, and others.

The expected results of the Sumpah Pemuda congress were to formulate the homeland, the nation and the Indonesian language. Later, this formula was used as the principle of the unity of the Indonesian nation.
