This is the analysis and interpretation of signals: sound, image, biological signals such
as electrocardiogram (ECG), radar signals and more.
SIGNAL PROCESSING
 In communications and signal
processing, and more generally in electrical engineering, a signal is any quantity which
varies with time or space. A set of information or a data can be also taken as a signal.
So mathematically, a signal is a function which depends on time or space.For
examples, the motion of a particle through some space can be considered to be a signal.

tomographic reconstruction.
