Creatine has been heavily studied for the past 25 years and has been found to be the most effective sports supplement ever created. Fears of Creatine causing dehydration or kidney problems are unfounded and supplementing with 5 grams (~ tsp creatine) daily appears to be safe for healthy adults. Specialized creatine variations haven't been found to produce any better results than standard creatine monohydrate.
