Writing a Personal Narrative
Now we start to write.
We've talked about what a personal narrative is, how to organize to write as well as explored some methods to introduce your topic.
This is your chance to let your own personal style as a writer shine through.

Varying your sentence lengths and types.
Create interesting sentences; avoid repeating sentence lengths and types, which give your story a redundant feel.

"I don't know," I replied. "I hope whoever it is has a bandage, because your claws just drew blood from my arm!"

People talk - include it in your narrative!  Strong, well-written dialogue tells not just the story, but shows your style as well.

People talk - include it in your narrative!  Strong, well-written dialogue tells not just the story, but shows your style as well.
Just remember, when using dialogue, you should vary your "speaking" words.  Avoid just using "said", and "asked".  Try some of these:
spoke, shouted, yelled, stated, joked, mumbled, murmured
Using different speech words also help you to set the mood of the story.

Writing in a tone that is appropriate and comfortable for you.
Are you taking a serious approach?  Sarcastic? Humerous? Meloncholy?
Know your subject matter; know yourself and choose the tone of your paper accordingly.
You're ready to beging writing the body of your paper.
Let your style shine through, but also remember to follow your timeline and transition smoothly throughout the story.
