Parent/Family Proxy Site
Accessing Portions of my Wildcat's Academic & Financial Services Records
JWU Wildcats can authorize access to portions of their records
Add a Proxy or Authorized User
FERPA protects the privacy of student's educational records
This process is managed by the student in jwuLink
Step 1: Student grants access
This is 2 step process
Step 2: Proxy/Authorized User can login
link.jwu.edu
To begin have your student login to jwuLink
The student will need an email address for the Proxy/Authorized User to complete the process
Scroll to Pages & click Student Account
Select show more...
Parent/Family Proxy Access
Add or Update Authorizations
Add New
Email address where Proxy Login Info will be sent
Select a relationship
Enter Proxy Information
Note the stop date; after this date the Proxy will not have access
Additional Information is optional:
Description (like parent or partner)Passphrase (the proxy must know this passphrase to speak with Student Academic or Financial Services over the telephone)
Authorizations are REQUIRED! 
Check the boxes next to the pages you would like your Proxy to view or use select all to give them access to the enitre list at once.
Click Submit
Step 2: 
Login to the Parent/Family Proxy Site
Check your email
Login info is sent via email
Click the link to login
You will need the Initial Password
Enter Initial Password (from the email) and click Submit
Enter email address, initial password, and create a new password. Note the password requirements.
Click Submit
Use your email and new password to login
Click the arrow to view or update your information
Note the password change link
Click Submit to save changes
Use the drop down to select the page you would like to view
In this example we are looking at holds. Click home at the top of the screen to return to the home screen.
Logging back in to the Parent/Family Proxy Site
Click Authorized Users/Parents
To login to your account visit:
Click on Students, Staff, Faculty

Use your email address & password to login

If you are unable to complete the Forgot password process on your own, your student will need to reset your passwod.
