School Counseling Mission Statement
The mission of Dr. Sue Shook Elementary School Counseling Program is to provide a comprehensive program that will help meet the needs of all students in the academic, personal-social, and career goals and prepare them to become productive citizens in the 21st century.
A school counselor is a highly trained educational and mental health professional who utilizes evidence based research and implementation of national school counseling standards to empower students, families, educators, and communities, to grow into their best selves.
