Our Bodies Need A Lot Of Energy To Keep Us Going Throughout The Day
And Where Do We Get All This Energy From?
From FooD!
To Be Healthy And Strong We Need To Eat The Correct Amounts Of Nutrients Every Day
That's Why We Use The Food Pyramid
The Food Pyramid Divides All The Foods Into 6 Groups And Tells Us How Many Portions Of Foods From Each Group We Should Eat Every Day
fruit and vegetables
Fresh, Cooked, Frozen And Canned Vegetables And Fruits Are All Healthy Choices
You Should Eat 5-7 Portions Of Veggies And Fruits Every Day
They Are Full Of Vitamins And Minerals
They Are Also High In Fibre To Keep Your Digestive System Happy!
Carbohydrates 
We should eat 3 - 5 servings of carbohydrates a day

Choose brown or whole grain sources, they give us the most energy

Dairy 
Aim to consume 5 portions of Dairy every day!

Protein
Protein helps the Body
