Who are Gifted and Talented Learners?
-they are students with higher ablities than average.
-it also refers to students whose talents, abilities and potential are developmentally advance.
What is 
the difference
between
Gifted and Talented?
Gifted 
-means having exceptional talent or natural ablity.
- students show aptitude for subjects like math, science, history and geography.
-learners have outstanding abilities in one or more academic subjects.
Talented
-means having a natural aptitude or skill for something.
-talented learners have exceptional abilities in one or more practical subject.
- students show skills in areas like dance, music, arts, design, sports and etc.
Learning Characterisrics of Gifted and Talented Learners
- high level of intellectual curiosity
-reads actively
-high degree of task commitment
-good comprehension of complex 
context
-strong well -developed imagination
-highly verbal
-gets bored easily
-can retain and recall information
-independece in learning
-leadership roles can be given to gifted and talented students.
General Education Adaptations
-teachers may give enrichment exercises.
-open ended activities
-long term activities
-extensive reading on subject of their own interest.
