1. The Promoter is: PowToon Ltd (company no. 07820729) whose registered office is at 28 Church Rd, London UK HA7 4XR.
2. Employees of PowToon, their suppliers, family members, or anyone else connected in any way with the company or competition shall not be permitted to enter the competition.
3. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
4. A Quick-Clip™ is a set of two of three slides: the first slide is a sentence or two of text, the second slide is an embedded video clip, and the third slide is final text which may contain a call to action.
5. You can only use clips from YouTube within a Quick-Clip to be considered for this competition.
6. To enter the competition you need to:
   1. create any type of PowToon account at www.powtoon.com
   2. create a #Slides presentation which includes a Quick-Clip
   3. when you ‘share’ your #Slides presentation it will take you to the player page. from here a pop up message will automatically appear asking whether you want to submit your #Slides to the Quick-Clip competition
   4. choose a category that best suits your Quick-Clip
   5. then click the ‘Enter Now’ button. This adds your Quick-Clip to the competition
   6. your video will then be published in the Gallery on the Competition Page, it will automatically pop up, and from there you can ‘Share’ it with your friends, colleagues and family by using the Social Share buttons.
   7. By entering the competition you are agreeing to these Terms & Conditions.
   8. The video content of your Quick-Clip must not be more than 30 seconds in length
   9. You can enter as many Quick-Clips™ as you like into the competition
   10. As the overall winner will be the Quick-Clip™ with the most Shares and Likes if you want to win it’s important you encourage all your family, friends and co-workers to Like and Share each of your Quick-Clips you create.
   11. If, for any reason, you want to withdraw your entry from the competition you will need to remove it from your dashboard within PowToon.
7. The competition is run over 11 weeks. Each week there will be 5 winners from the #Slides presentations we feature in our gallery, page www.powtoon.com/quick-clip. One main winner and four runners up. If less than 5 videos meet the competition criteria for any given week, than PowToon reserves the right to limit the number of winners to less than 5 for that week. The main winner will go through to the final round in week 11.
8. Each weekly round will start at 9am GMT on a Thursday and will run until the same time the following week. The competition opens on Thursday, November 13th, 2014 with the first week ending Thursday, November 20th, 2014 and the final, tenth week ending Thursday, January 22nd, 2015. The grand final will be open from January 25th, 2015 and closes at midnight GMT on February 2nd 2015. The Like count will be zeroed at the start of the Grand Final Competition. The overall winner will be the person with the most likes/shares on their #Slides during the last week.
9. The prizes for the competition will be as follows:
   1. There will be four runners up each week (40 altogether) who will receive an annual Pro Account.
   2. There will be one winner each week (10 altogether) who will receive an annual Business Account.
   3. There will be one overall winner who receives the grand prize of being made into a PowToon character and an iPhone 6.
   4. If a winner already has an annual account we will give them the following year for free so they will still get a prize.
10. The Promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
11. No cash alternative to the prizes will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
12. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
13. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these Terms & Conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil, or military disturbance, act of God, or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the Promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the Promoter.
14. Winners will be chosen as a result of a popular vote conducted via Social Media.
15. The winner will be notified by email within 14 days of the date that their entry was chosen as a winner. If a winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 21 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner. In week 10 of the competition the all overall winner will have 24 hours to claim their prize. In the case that they do not claim their place in the grand final we reserve the right to pick another entry.
16. The Promoter will notify the winner as to how to claim their prize. The Promoter can not be held responsible if prizes can not be redeemed for whatever reason.
17. The Promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
18. A winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
19. Winners names will be available 28 days after the closing date by sending a stamped addressed envelope to PowToon Ltd, 28 Church Rd, London, UK HA7 4XR.
20. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter, or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to PowToon and not to any other party. The information provided will be used in conjunction with the following Privacy Policy found at https://www.powtoon.com/blog/privacy-policy.
21. If you make an edit to your #Slides it will not automatically sync to your competition entry of the same. You’ll need to re publish and then re-submit it.
22. If you customize your #Slides with the PowToon Studio it will prevent you from entering the competition.
23. You will be disqualified from the competition immediately if you have copied someone elses #Slides/Quick-Clips.
24. Featured Quick-Clips in no way reflect the opinions of PowToon and we are not endorsing any sentiments that may be contained in any users’ entries to the competition.
25. We cannot be held responsible for the content contained within any #Slides that have been uploaded by users. However, we will do our best to moderate and endeavour to remove asap any videos deemed to be of an offensive, insulting or abusive nature or inappropriate in any way.
26. In the event of a tie breaker PowToon will randomly pick a winner.
27. If you enter your video in e.g. week 1 it will remain published so you can collect as many votes as you can throughout the duration of the competition.
28. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
29. The competition and these Terms & Conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
