Verbs
*  Verbs are words that express actions, events, or states of being.
Example: 
"run," "jump," "think," "exist"
Verbs
In the realm of verbs, we find the vitality of actions like "run" and "jump," the contemplation of "think," and the mere existence captured in "exist." Each verb paints a vivid picture of movement, thought, or existence within the canvas of communication.
Types of Verbs
*  Action verbs are the workhorses of language.
*  They denote actions that can be seen, heard, felt, or experienced.
1.Action Verbs
Examples: 
She runs every morning.
They laughed loudly at the joke.
Linking verbs serve to connect the subject of a sentence to a subject complement. They do not show action but rather express a state of being or condition.
 2.Linking Verbs
Examples: 
He seems happy.
The cake smells delicious.
*  Helping verbs work alongside main verbs to express various nuances such as tense, mood, or voice.
3.Helping Verbs
Examples: 
She is singing beautifully.
They have been waiting for hours.
Transitive Verbs: They require a direct object to complete their meaning.
Intransitive Verbs: They do not require a direct object to complete their meaning.
Transitive and Intransitive Verbs
Example:
Transitive: She ate the cake.
Intransitive: He laughed.
*  Regular Verbs: They follow a predictable pattern when conjugated.
*  Irregular Verbs: They do not follow the standard rules of conjugation.
Regular and Irregular Verbs
 Regular: Walk - walked - walked
 Irregular: Go - went - gone
*  Past Tense: Indicates actions or states that have already occurred.
*  Present Tense: Indicates actions or states that are currently happening.
*  Future Tense: Indicates actions or states that will happen in the future.
Verb Tenses
Past: She played tennis yesterday.
Present: He teaches English.
Future: They will arrive tomorrow.
*  Subject-verb agreement is crucial for maintaining grammatical correctness in sentences:
*  The verb must agree with the subject in number and person.
Subject-Verb Agreement
Correct: She sings beautifully.
Incorrect: She sing beautifully.
*  Verb phrases consist of a main verb and one or more helping verbs.
*  They can express complex actions or states.
Verb Phrases
Examples: 
She has been studying all night. 
They are going to visit their grandparents.
