Introduction
I have worked in school libraries for 11 yrs in Australia and 18 months in the UAE.

Although the AIS library has been established for 12 yrs, I have been working hard over the last 18 months to standardise all library operations such as lending limits, cataloging and classification, shelving and overdue notices.

Introduction

To this end, I realised that library staff needed a lot of training to provide an effective service.

I have dedicated much time to weeding as the collection was very tired and worn looking.

The collection is developing especially in the areas of journals and databases.
