Group name: Equivalente Member: Antonia Aedo This video will talk about "Equivalente" which is an app that helps people with their medical treatment, searching for alternative and low-cost medicines, at the same time it provides information on the nearest pharmacy that sells the specific items needed. Even it will remind you when you have to take your meds. This app will not only help people in their recovery but also in their economy. Hello, my name is Antonia Aedo, I´m seventeen years old,
and today I´m going to be talking about my app called Equivalente
So let me tell you how it was created, well Equivalete was created when I saw 
that the majority of my family members were taking several medicines in a day.
So I asked myself if Chilean people were having the same problem.
In my research, I found that 58% of Chilean people, consume at least one medicine
during the day. And this number increased up to eight, when talking about senior people.
Yet, there are studies that have shown that 
every year more Chilean people are consuming more meds. 
Something else that I realized, was that between all the medications 
that my relatives had to take, just a few of them were easy to find and affordable.
many times they had to exceed the budget in order to buy all their item on their medication list.
So, Equivalente is meant for that group of people
is meant for the ones that are searching for a cheaper yet high-quality remedy and need help to find them.

My app gives you a personalized search on the specific product you need
Equivalente will show you a list of alternative, commercial and non-commercial options of the product you are searching for and also it will give you a comparison on their prices
Although there are many apps that can give you that information,

Equivalente will also guide you to the nearest pharmacy in wich you will find the product
and also it will remind you when you have to take it 
So from there, we can get Eqivalente´s three main objectives:

Equivalente
You can realize it is easy to understand,  it´s buttons and labels describe the function that they´ll make and with that it makes it simple to use.
It has a log-in and sign in page were you upload your Gmail and create a password
then it has a main menu were you will find a variety of options like set an alarm to take your medication or view a map to see the nearest pharmacy
Equivalente is a very basic app, constantly we will be working on our database and design to make this app easy to use and to understand
Because it is a new project, we are using different websites that complement the function we need
In order to make this app fully functional, I will need help from girls that know how to program and design.
Furthermore, in the future, I would like to incorporate a function
In which the app can offer the user, a variety of products depending on the treatment he has
Something important about this app is that it will be free. It is important that if we want to help a large group of people, we have to make Equivalente accessible to everyone.  
It will produce incomes based on a pop-up advertisement from different pharmacies, in this way the user will be offered a variety of products he may need,

and we will get an income as well. This income will be destinated to complete every aspect of the app.

So in conclusion, Equivalente will not only help in the medical treatment of the person and recovery, but it will also help in their economy.
