For those of you who aren’t familiar with the term “corporate video production”, it refers to any type of video (DVD, Video Streaming, HD video, etc.) used by a company, corporation, or organization mostly for the purposes of B2B (business to business) interactions including product pitches, promotional videos, training videos, and so on.
While the use of corporate video can be a brilliant marketing strategy, there are a few things you have to be careful about or you could end up having a video that looks like this:

The shorter the sweeter
Most videos have 8 seconds to grab attention before people close the window. That is not a lot of time, and means you have to pack a good punch right in the beginning of your movie! In fact, The average focused attention span of an adult (focused attention span meaning attention needed for short-term tasks such as watching a commercial or short video) is, on average, only about 8 seconds, so you really, really need to grab them while you can or your video is a lost cause.
Take this video for example. In the first second a simple explanation, something we have all probably wondered how to do at one point in our lives, grabs the curiosity of the watchers making it impossible to close the window before the conclusion of the movie. It is so simple, but this guy did something right to get over 5 million views on YouTube!
Laughter is the best medicine
If you make someone laugh, there is a very good chance they will remember you, but make sure your humor is in good taste and not offensive (there can be a fine line). The CEO of this company hit the nail on the head when he made this commercial, and 13.5 million YouTube views later he is still being talked about all over the marketing world. Seriously, if you don’t read any of the article please at least watch this video!
Live video is great, but it is very expected and quite overused. Why not try something innovative and fun like animation to create your corporate video.
